Three referendums were held inSwitzerland in 1982.[1] The first two were held on 6 June: one was on an amendment to the Swiss penal code, which was approved, and the other was on a new law on foreigners, which was narrowly rejected.[1] The third referendum was held on 28 November and addressed apopular initiative "for the prevention of abusive prices", alongside a counter-proposal. The initiative was approved and the counter-proposal was rejected.[1]
