The1974 Maryland attorney general election was held on 5 November 1974 in order to elect theattorney general of Maryland.Democratic nominee andincumbent attorney generalFrancis B. Burch won re-election as he ran unopposed.[1]

On election day, 5 November 1974,Democratic nomineeFrancis B. Burch won re-election as he ran unopposed, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of attorney general. Burch was sworn in for his third term on 3 January 1975.[2]
