The1970 FIBA World Championship was the 6thFIBA World Championship, the internationalbasketball world championship for men's national teams. It was hosted byYugoslavia inSarajevo,Split,Karlovac,Skopje andLjubljana, from 10 to 24 May 1970.[1] It was the first FIBA World Championship hosted outside ofSouth America.
