The1968 Memorial Cup was the 50th annualMemorial Cup competition, organized by theCanadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) to determine the champion ofjunior A ice hockey. TheGeorge Richardson Memorial Trophy championsNiagara Falls Flyers of theOntario Hockey Association inEastern Canada competed against theAbbott Cup championsEstevan Bruins of theWestern Canada Junior Hockey League inWestern Canada. In a best-of-seven series, held at theNiagara Falls Memorial Arena inNiagara Falls, Ontario and at theMontreal Forum inMontreal,Quebec, Niagara Falls won their 2nd Memorial Cup, defeating Estevan 4 games to 1.

CAHA vice-presidentLloyd Pollock oversaw the schedule, and used the Montreal Forum to increase profits for CAHA, sinceMaple Leaf Gardens was not available and due to the smaller size of the Niagara Falls Memorial Arena.[1]
