The1968 Georgia Bulldogs football team represented theUniversity of Georgia as a member of theSoutheastern Conference (SEC) during the1968 NCAA University Division football season. Led by fifth-year head coachVince Dooley, the Bulldogs compiled an overall record of 8–1–2, with a mark of 5–0–1 in conference play, and finished as SEC champion.[1] The team was named national champion by NCAA-designated major selectorLitkenhous.[2]
