Aleadership election in theAustralian Labor Party, then the opposition party in theParliament of Australia, was held on 8 February 1967. It followed the resignation of previous leaderArthur Calwell. The contest was won by Calwell's deputyGough Whitlam in a caucus ballot.[1]
