The1964 Milan–San Remocycling race took place on March 19, 1964, and was won byPeugeot–BP–Englebert'sTom Simpson, becoming the first British winner. It was the 55th edition of theMilan–San Remo"monument" classic race.[1][2][3][4][5] Simpson set a record pace for the event at 43.420 km/h.[6][7]
