The1962 All-America college football team is composed ofcollege football players who were selected asAll-Americans by various organizations and writers that choseAll-America college football teams in 1962. The six selectors recognized by theNCAA as "official" for the 1962 season are (1) theAmerican Football Coaches Association (AFCA), (2) theAssociated Press (AP), (3) theFootball Writers Association of America (FWAA), (4) theNewspaper Enterprise Association (NEA), (5) theSporting News, and (6) theUnited Press International (UPI).
