The1960 Wisconsin gubernatorial election was held on November 8, 1960.DemocratGaylord A. Nelson won the election with 51.5% of the vote, retaining his position asGovernor of Wisconsin.

The results were almost exactly the opposite of the simultaneouspresidential election, with Nelson's margin of victory being about half a point narrower than that ofRichard Nixon.
