The1960USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as thenational championships in indoortrack and field for theUnited States.
The men's edition was held atMadison Square Garden inNew York City, New York, and it took place February 20. The women's meet was held separately at theHenry Crown Field House inChicago, Illinois, taking place April 16.[1][2]
At the women's championships, six women's records fell. At the men's meet,Irvin Roberson brokeJesse Owens's longstandinglong jump record.[3][4][5]
