The1958National League was the 24th season and the thirteenth post-war season of the highest tier ofmotorcycle speedway in Great Britain.^[1]

Summary

Bradford Tudors who had dropped out at the start of the previous season only to return in mid-season, had dropped out again. Promoter Vic Gooden moved the entire promotion and team ofRayleigh Rockets toPoole Pirates.^[2]

Wimbledon Dons won their fourth title in five years.^[3]^[4]^[5]
