The1957 Utah Redskins football team was anAmerican football team that represented theUniversity of Utah as a member of theSkyline Conference during the1957 college football season. In their eighth and final season under head coachJack Curtice, the Redskins compiled an overall record of 6–4 with a mark of 5–1 against conference opponents, winning the Skyline title. Home games were played on campus atUte Stadium inSalt Lake City.

Curtice ran a wide-open offense.[1] The Redskins were led on the field by transfer quarterbackLee Grosscup, who finished tenth in the balloting for theHeisman Trophy as a junior and was a second-team AP and UPIAll-American. SophomoreLarry Wilson played safety and halfback and was later inducted into thePro Football Hall of Fame after a career in theNational Football League (NFL) with theSt. Louis Cardinals.

After the season, Curtice left forStanford University and was succeeded byRay Nagel, the backfield coach at theUniversity of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
