The1957USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as thenational championships in indoortrack and field for theUnited States.
The men's edition was held atMadison Square Garden inNew York City, New York, and it took place February 23. The women's meet was held separately at theCleveland Arena inCleveland, Ohio, taking place April 6.[1][2]
At the championships, the "daily double" ofRon Delany andCharlie Jenkins, both from Villanova, won the mile and600 yards respectively.[3][4][5]
