The1954 Oklahoma Sooners football team (variously "Oklahoma", "OU", or the "Sooners") represented theUniversity of Oklahoma in the1954 college football season, the sixtieth season ofSooner football. Led by eighth-year head coachBud Wilkinson, they played their home games atOklahoma Memorial Stadium inNorman, Oklahoma, and were members of theBig Seven Conference.

The Sooners went undefeated and were ranked third inboth final polls, released in late November at the end of the regular season. Because of a conference "no-repeat" rule, Oklahoma did not play in abowl game.[1][2] Unranked runner-upNebraska was invited to theOrange Bowl,[1] and was defeated34–7by No. 14Duke.[2]
