The1953 Oregon State Beavers football team representedOregon State College as a member of thePacific Coast Conference (PCC) during the1953 college football season. In their fifth season under head coachKip Taylor, the Beavers compiled an overall record of 3–6 record with a mark of 3–5 in conference play, placing sixth in the PCC. The team was outscored 187 to 39 on the season. Oregon State opened with five shutout losses, then visited and shut out theIdaho Vandals, 19–0, for their first points and win.

The Beavers played two home games atMultnomah Stadium inPortland and opened the newParker Stadium inCorvallis on November 14 with a 7–0homecoming win overWashington State, then won their fifth consecutiveCivil War game overOregon, this year on the road, inEugene.
