The1952 United States presidential election in Louisiana took place on November 4, 1952, as part of the1952 United States presidential election. State voters chose ten[3] representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.

Louisiana was won byAdlai Stevenson (DIllinois), running withSenatorJohn Sparkman, with 52.92% of the popular vote, againstDwight D. Eisenhower (RNew York), running withSenatorRichard Nixon, with 47.08% of the popular vote.[4][5] Eisenhowerʼs performance was nonetheless the best by a Republican in the state sinceReconstruction.

As of the2024 presidential election[update], this is the last election in whichOuachita Parish,Union Parish, andLaSalle Parish voted for a Democratic presidential candidate.[6] This is the most recent election in which the Democratic nominee would carry the state without winning the presidency.
