The1951 Southwest Texas State Bobcats football team was anAmerican football team that represented Southwest Texas State Teachers College (now known asTexas State University) during the1951 college football season as a member of theLone Star Conference (LSC). In their first year under head coachMilton Jowers, the team compiled an overall record of 6–3–1 with a mark of 2–2–1 in conference play, tying for second place in the LSC.[1]
