The1951 Japan Series was the championship series ofNippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the1951 season. The second edition of theJapan Series, it was abest-of-seven playoff that matched thePacific League championNankai Hawks against theCentral League championYomiuri Giants.

TheYomiuri Giants, who previously dominated the NPB predecessorJapanese Baseball League, won their first NPB championship in five games.Pacific League championMainichi Orions against theCentral League championShochiku Robins. The Orions defeated the Robins in six games.
