The1945 Ellington Field Fliers football team represented theUnited States Army Air Force'sEllington Field, located inHouston, during the1945 college football season. Led by head coach Louis A. "Bullet" Gray, the Fliers compiled a record of 1–4–1. On October 31, Gray announced that team would not play any more games as more of the players were being discharged from military service.[1]

Ellington Field ranked 133rd among the nation's college and service teams in the finalLitkenhous Ratings.[2]
