The1935–36 Football League season wasBirmingham Football Club's 40th season overall inthe Football League and their 23rd consecutive season in theFirst Division. They finished in 12th position in the 22-team division. They entered the1935–36 FA Cup at the third round proper and lost toBarnsley in that round after areplay.

Twenty-seven players made at least one appearance in nationally organised competition, and there were fourteen different goalscorers. ForwardFred Harris was ever-present for the 44-match season, andCharlie Wilson Jones was leading scorer with 20 goals, of which 19 came in the league.
