The1934 Minnesota Secretary of State election was held on November 6, 1934, in order to elect theSecretary of State of Minnesota.Republican nominee andincumbent Secretary of StateMike Holm defeatedFarmer–Labor nominee and incumbentlieutenant governor of MinnesotaKonrad K. Solberg,Democratic nominee Hugh T. Kennedy andCommunist nominee Robert Turner.[1]
On election day, November 6, 1934,Republican nomineeMike Holm won re-election by a margin of 118,251 votes against his foremost opponentFarmer–Labor nomineeKonrad K. Solberg, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of Secretary of State. Holm was sworn in for his eighth term on January 7, 1935.[2]
