The1932 Minnesota Attorney General election was held on 8 November 1932 in order to elect theattorney general of Minnesota.Farmer–Labor nomineeHarry H. Peterson defeatedRepublican nominee andincumbent attorney generalHenry N. Benson,Democratic nominee Ray G. Moonan andCommunist nominee Thomas Foley.[1]
On election day, 8 November 1932,Farmer–Labor nomineeHarry H. Peterson won the election by a margin of 33,932 votes against his foremost opponentRepublican nomineeHenry N. Benson, thereby gaining Farmer–Labor control over the office of attorney general. Peterson was sworn in as the 19thattorney general of Minnesota on 2 January 1933.[2]
