The1931 Catholic University Cardinals football team was anAmerican football team that represented theCatholic University of America as an independent during the1931 college football season. In its second year under head coachDutch Bergman, the team compiled an 8–1 record and outscored opponents by a total of 249 to 84. After losing the first game of the season toBoston College, the Cardinals won their final eight games.[1]
