The 1928Bulgarian State Football Championship was the fifth edition of theBulgarian State Football Championship, the national football competition inBulgaria. It was contested by 5 teams, andSlavia Sofia won the championship, defeatingVladislav Varna 4–0 in the final.

The winners from each OSO (Bulgarian:окръжна спортна област,lit. 'regional sports district') qualify for the State championship.^{[Note 1]}

^Only five teams were admitted to the championship as many OSOs again didn't determine their winners before the deadline. For most of the OSOs from the south of the country this was also due to the two devastating earthquakes nearChirpan in April 1928.
