The1924 United States presidential election in Maryland took place on November 4, 1924. All contemporary 48 states were part of the1924 United States presidential election. State voters chose 8 electors to theElectoral College, which selected thepresident andvice president.

Maryland was won by theRepublican nominee, incumbent PresidentCalvin Coolidge ofMassachusetts, over theDemocratic nominee, AmbassadorJohn W. Davis ofWest Virginia. Coolidge ran with formerBudget DirectorCharles G. Dawes ofIllinois, while Davis ran withGovernorCharles W. Bryan ofNebraska. Also in the running that year was theProgressive Party nominee,SenatorRobert M. La Follette ofWisconsin and his running mate SenatorBurton K. Wheeler ofMontana.

In this election, Maryland voted 21.22% more Democratic than the nation at large, or an 8 percent bigger differential than in 1920.[1]
