The1914East Galway by-election was held on 4 December 1914. Theby-election was held due to the death of the incumbentIrish Parliamentary MP,John Roche. It was won by theIrish Parliamentary candidateJames Cosgrave[1] who was unopposed due to aWar-time electoral pact.
