The1913USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were organized by theAmateur Athletic Union (AAU) and served as thenational championships in indoortrack and field for the United States.
The men's championships were held at the22nd Regiment Armory inNew York City, New York, and they took place March 6. Women's championships were not officially held until 1927.[1][2]
At the championships,Abel Kiviat won the1000 yards in an American record, and then also won the600 yards. The2 miles walk was introduced for the first time.[3][4][5]
