The1912 United States presidential election in Oregon took place on November 5, 1912, as part of the1912 United States presidential election. State voters chose five representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.

Oregon was won byPrinceton University PresidentWoodrow Wilson (DVirginia), running withgovernor of IndianaThomas R. Marshall, with 34.34% of the popular vote, against the26th president of the United StatesTheodore Roosevelt (PNew York), running withCalifornia GovernorHiram Johnson, with 27.44% of the popular vote, the27th president of the United StatesWilliam Howard Taft (ROhio), running withColumbia University PresidentNicholas Murray Butler, with 25.30% of the popular vote and thefive-time candidate of theSocialist Party of America forPresident of the United StatesEugene V. Debs (SIndiana), running with the firstSocialist mayor of a major city in theUnited StatesEmil Seidel, with 9.74% of the popular vote.[1]

As a result of his win, Wilson became the first Democratic presidential candidate sinceHoratio Seymour in1868 to win Oregon. As of the2020 presidential election[update], this is the only election where Oregon voted Democratic while neighboring Washington didn't.
