The1912Australasian Championships was atennis tournament that took place on outdoorgrass courts atHastings, New Zealand from 30 December 1912 until 1 January 1913. It was the 8th edition of the Australian Championships (now known as theAustralian Open), the first held in Hastings, the second held in New Zealand, afterChristchurch in 1906, and the thirdGrand Slam tournament of the year. Travel by sea was slow, limiting the attendance of Australian players, and New Zealand playerAnthony Wilding did not return from Europe. The singles title was won by IrishJames Cecil Parke.
