The1910 Minnesota Secretary of State election was held on November 8, 1910, in order to elect theSecretary of State of Minnesota.Republican nominee andincumbent Secretary of StateJulius A. Schmahl defeatedDemocratic nominee Fred W. Johnson,Socialist nominee Torkel Hoiland andProhibition nominee Frank F. Marzahn.[1]
On election day, November 8, 1910,Republican nomineeJulius A. Schmahl won re-election by a margin of 61,048 votes against his foremost opponentDemocratic nominee Fred W. Johnson, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of Secretary of State. Schmahl was sworn in for his third term on January 4, 1911.[2]
