The1908 United States presidential election in Wyoming took place on November 3, 1908, as part of the1908 United States presidential election. State voters chose three representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.
Wyoming was won by theSecretary of WarWilliam Howard Taft (R–Ohio), running withrepresentativeJames S. Sherman, with 55.43 percent of the popular vote, againstrepresentativeWilliam Jennings Bryan (D–Nebraska), running withSenatorJohn W. Kern, with 39.67 percent of the popular vote.[1] Taft won the state by a margin of 15.76%, however, Bryan won a larger share of the popular vote than Wilson would win the state with four years later.
Bryan had previously won Wyoming againstWilliam McKinley in1896 but had lost the state to McKinley in1900.
