The1904 United States presidential election in California took place on November 8, 1904, as part of the1904 United States presidential election. State voters chose 10 representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.

California voted for theRepublicanincumbent,Theodore Roosevelt and his running mateCharles W. Fairbanks ofIndiana. They defeated theDemocratic nominees, formerChief Judge of New York Court of AppealsAlton B. Parker and his running mate, formerUS SenatorHenry G. Davis ofWest Virginia. Roosevelt won the state by a wide margin of 34.9%. This was the first election in which a Republican carriedFresno County,Glenn County,Kern County,Lake County,Merced County,Modoc County,San Benito County,Stanislaus County, andTulare County. Additionally, this was first time since1872 that a Republican carriedEl Dorado County andYolo County.
