The1899 Edinburgh East by-election was a parliamentaryby-election for the UKHouse of Commons constituency ofEdinburgh East inEdinburgh,Scotland held on 23 June 1899. It was triggered by the death ofLiberal MPRobert Wallace. The seat was held by the Liberal Party.
