The1895 U.S. National Championships (now known as theUS Open) was atennis tournament that took place in June and August of 1895. The women's tournament was held from June 25 to June 29 on the outdoor grass courts at thePhiladelphia Cricket Club inPhiladelphia,Pennsylvania. The men's tournament was held from August 18 to August 25 on the outdoorgrass courts at theNewport Casino inNewport, Rhode Island. It was the 15th U.S. National Championships and the secondGrand Slam tournament of the year.
