Lommen,Democratic nominee John Ludwig andProhibition nominee Charles M. Way.[1]
On election day, 6 November 1894,Republican nomineeDavid Marston Clough won re-election by a margin of 82,888 votes against his foremost opponentPeople's nominee Edwin E. Lommen, thereby retaining Republican control over the office of lieutenant governor. Clough was sworn in for his second term on 3 January 1895.[2]
