The1892 Baltimore Orioles season was the first season that theprofessional baseball team known as theBaltimore Orioles competed in theNational League, following the demise of theAmerican Association. In asplit season schedule, the Orioles finished last in the first half of the season and 10th in the second half. Overall, the team had a record of 46–101, worst in the 12-team National League. The 19th-century Orioles franchise is not theBaltimore Orioles franchise that has competed in theAmerican League since 1954.
