The1864 United States presidential election in California took place on November 8, 1864, as part of the1864 United States presidential election. State voters chose five electors of theElectoral College, who voted forpresident andvice president.

California was won by theRepublicanincumbent,Abraham Lincoln, running on theNation Union ticket with his running mateAndrew Johnson. They defeated theDemocratic nominee,Union ArmyMajor GeneralGeorge B. McClellan and his running mateGeorge H. Pendleton. Lincoln won the state by a margin of 17.2%.
