Missouri voted for theDemocratic nomineeJames Buchanan, who received 54% of the vote.[1]
Republican Party nomineeJohn C. Frémont was not on the ballot.
As of the2024 United States presidential election, this is the last timeGasconade County voted for a Democratic presidential candidate, which, as of 2025, makes it the longest Republican winning streak in presidential elections in the nation.[2]
