The17th Arabian Gulf Cup (Arabic:كأس الخليج العربي)[1] was held inQatar between 10 and 24 December 2004.[2] It marked the return of the Iraqi National team back to the competition,following the fall ofSaddam Hussein.[3]Qatar turned out the victors andOman came in runners up in a close match that ended in apenalty kick shootout.
