The exact results of this election are unknown.[1]
On election day, 17 November 1794,Federalist candidateJohn Hoskins Stone was elected by theMaryland General Assembly, thereby retaining Federalist control over the office of governor. Stone was sworn in as the 7thGovernor of Maryland on 24 November 1794.[2]
