Themeridian 150° west ofGreenwich is a line oflongitude[1] that extends from theNorth Pole across theArctic Ocean,North America (entirely within the State ofAlaska), thePacific Ocean, theSouthern Ocean, andAntarctica to theSouth Pole.
InAntarctica, the meridian defines the eastern limit ofNew Zealand's territorial claim. The land further east is not claimed by any nation except themicronation ofWestarctica, which is not recognized by any UN member state.
The 150th meridian west forms agreat ellipse with the30th meridian east.
