12th electoral term of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party

The12th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), formally thePolitical Bureau of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, was elected at the 1st plenary session of the12th Central Committee of theCCP on 13 September 1982 in the aftermath of the12th National Congress. Thiselectoral term was preceded by the11th Politburo and succeeded by the13th. Six of the 31 members served concurrently in the12th Politburo Standing Committee.
