,ᶑ (d withhook andtail) is a letter of theLatin alphabet, used inphonetic transcription to represent avoiced retroflex implosive[ᶑ], though it is not explicitly part of theInternational Phonetic Alphabet.[1] It is formed fromd with the addition of ahook to mark it asimplosive, and atail to mark it asretroflex. It is thus a fusion of⟨ɗ ⟩ and⟨ɖ ⟩.
⟨ᶑ ⟩ was added toUnicode with version 4.1 in 2005.

There is no Unicode encoding for a capital form. However, SIL fonts such asGentium andCharis SIL haveU+F20D in their private-use areas as the capital form of⟨ᶑ ⟩. Alternatively, combining characters can also represent the uppercase ᶑ (like Ɗ̢). There is no evidence of usage.[2]
