Reversed ze (Ԑ ԑ; italics:Ԑ ԑ) is a letter of theCyrillic script. Its form is a reversedCyrillic letter Ze (З з З з). It resembles theLatin letter epsilon (Ɛ ɛ) and theGreek letter Epsilon (Ε ε), as well as a hand-written form of the uppercase Latin E andCyrillic letter Ye, but has different origins from them. Reversed Ze was added to the Unicode 5.0 Standard, but is still uncommon in most Cyrillic fonts.
Reversed Ze is used inEnets, where it represents/ɛ~æ/ (like the e inbet or the a inant).[1][2][3] It has also been used in theKhanty language.[4][5]
