Ženski fudbalski klub Ekonomist(Cyrillic: Женски фудбалски клуб Економист), commonly abbreviated asŽFK Ekonomist, is awomen's football club based inNikšić, Montenegro. Founded in 2007,[1] the club competes in theMontenegrin Women's League and was the inaugural champion of the competition. In 2012, it became the first women's team from Montenegro to participate in theUEFA Women's Champions League.[2] Prior to the establishment of the national league, the team won the FSCG Trophy once. The club has received support from Meridianbet.[3]
