İçli pide (Turkish:İçli pide,lit.'stuffed pide'), also called simplypide, is a savory Turkish dish consisting of a flattened, leavened wheat-based dough topped or filled with ingredients such asminced meat,kaşar,beyaz peynir, vegetables, or tahin, and baked at a high temperature, traditionally in a wood-fired oven.[1] It is particularly popular inAydın and theBlack Sea region of Turkey.[citation needed] A person who makes pide is known as apideci.[2]
