Čajniče (Serbian Cyrillic:Чајниче,pronounced[tʃâːjniːtʃɛ]) is a town and a municipality inRepublika Srpska,Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013, the town has a population of 2,401 inhabitants, while the municipality has 4,895 inhabitants.
When the German and ItalianZones of Influence were revised on 24 June 1942, Čajniče fell inZone III [hr], administered civilly by Croatia and militarily by Croatia and Germany.[1]
