Ì is used in theISO 9:1995 system ofUkrainian transliteration as the Cyrillic letterІ.[1]

In thePinyin system ofChinese romanization ì is an i with afalling tone.

This appears inAlcozauca Mixtec,Italian,Sardinian,Taos,Vietnamese,Welsh,Alsatian,Scottish Gaelic,Ojibwe,Venetan and also in the constructed languageNa'vi to represent a close-mid front unrounded vowel.
