Álvaro Martín (sports announcer)

Puerto Rican commentator

Álvaro Martín is aPuerto Rican commentator who used to work forESPN Deportes.[1] He currently works for theNBA League Pass service andPrime Video[2] where he providesplay-by-play usually accompanied by former basketball coach Carlos Morales, who has worked with him since he was atESPN.

After graduating fromColegio San Ignacio de Loyola inPuerto Rico, Martín received an undergraduate degree fromHarvard University, and graduated with an MS in business administration fromHarvard Business School.

He began work in 1991 at ESPN. His commentary duties include theNFL andNBA.

He provided voice commentary in theSpanish-language versions of the video gamesMadden NFL 08 andMadden NFL 09.[3]
