TheWest Branch Pleasant River is a 7.5-mile-long (12.1 km)[1]tributary of thePleasant River in theU.S. state ofMaine. It is part of theAndroscoggin River watershed, which flows to the tidalKennebec River near its mouth at theAtlantic Ocean.
The river rises at Haystack Notch in the unorganized territory ofSouth Oxford within theWhite Mountain National Forest and flows northeast, joining theEast Branch at the South Oxford-Bethel town line to form the Pleasant River.
